We collaborated with the KQED Newsroom team on creating an in-depth but easily understandable video explaining the complicated history and science behind California’s water system, and the issues that have led to its recent draught. Using a mix of stylized collage illustration, animated infographics, and found images and video, the story was brought to life, further illustrating the information presented in a colorful and engaging way.
