Portraits are one of my favorite subjects to illustrate, and I especially love using physical media to bring out the unique spirit and personality of beloved animal friends in a naturalistic, organic and intuitive way. Each piece is hand rendered from a mix of materials - typically watercolor, ink, and/or colored pencil depending on desired texture - all on heavy archival watercolor paper.
