Based on an existing KQED Science article about how and why our core temperature seems to be dropping, I worked closely with the KQED Audience Engagement team to create a short, easily shareable summary video to air on broadcast and social media. The graphic style I went with was quirky and editorial, using a punchy, hyper-limited hot/cool color palette and newsprint textures, brought to life by limited and snappy stop-motion inspired animation.
